Workers

For hospitality workers

Much hospitality and events work is flexible and falls on evenings and weekends. Tell us your availability and the roles you know — kitchen, front-of-house, bar or events — and we will offer shifts that suit you.

  • Kitchen, waiting, bar, banqueting and event roles
  • Evening, weekend and seasonal work
  • Occasional shifts around another job
  • We record food-hygiene and alcohol-service experience
Employers

For venues and caterers

From a last-minute function to a full banqueting team, tell us the roles, the numbers and the timing. We put forward staff suited to the setting, and we are clear about what has and has not been confirmed.

  • Kitchen, front-of-house, bar and event teams
  • Cover for functions, peaks and short-notice gaps
  • Uniform and presentation expectations captured
  • Casual, seasonal and longer-term assignments

What tends to matter in Hospitality & Events

Common experience, tickets and requirements

  • A tidy, professional appearance and the right uniform
  • Good customer service for front-of-house roles
  • Food hygiene awareness for kitchen and catering roles
  • Experience of alcohol service for bar roles
  • Availability for evenings and weekends
  • Right to work in the UK and ID

Not every role needs every item — this is a guide to what tends to matter, not a checklist you must complete to register.

The right people for the room

A wedding, a conference and a busy service each need a different kind of hand. We record the settings a worker knows and the certificates they hold, so the team that turns up suits the event — without overstating anything we have not confirmed.

Hospitality & Events FAQ and advice

Frequently asked questions

Can I work occasional shifts around another job?

Yes. Hospitality and events work is often flexible. We record your availability so we only offer shifts that suit you. We cannot guarantee a specific shift or event.

Do I need a food hygiene certificate?

It depends on the role. For kitchen and catering roles it is an advantage. We note the certificates you hold during registration.

Do you verify alcohol-service experience?

We record the alcohol-service experience a worker tells us about. We do not imply any licensing or certification unless it is genuinely held and supported by the proper documents.

Is there evening and weekend work?

Much hospitality and events work falls on evenings and weekends, and we match to your stated availability.
